Serve St. Louis is a collaborative effort between churches, organizations and faith-based agencies in the St. Louis area, who are coming together with the common goal to love God and serve others. We expect to have individuals and families in a variety of settings, all designed to meet the community's needs while bringing honor to Jesus through prayer and service.
JOY FM's mission is to use Christian Music as a means of encouraging believers, uniting the body of Christ and sharing the life changing message of Jesus with the world. Serve St. Louis is an outreach that fits with our mission to then reach the city of St. Louis through tangible efforts.
If your church or organization would like to participate in Serve St. Louis, you can pick two ways of being involved: hosting one or more projects at your church/organization for your congregation/employees and outside volunteers, or promoting the event with your congregation/employees and sending them to other Serve St. Louis sites. In both instances, we'd like you to complete a registration form.
Free will donations of project materials may be available as projects are developed and launched by churches or organizations. No advertising or sponsorships are available through Serve St. Louis.
Absolutely! Thanks for your enthusiasm! Sign ups normally begin in the July/August timeframe: however, with the 2017 Spring Flooding we are beginning the sign ups in May. Go to Servestlouis.org and select Projects. A list of the projects will be displayed. Select the project you would like to volunteer for and then log in with your password or register as a First Time User and provide your contact information. You can also follow us on FACEBOOK and TWITTER for the latest updates on what's happening with Serve!
No. Projects can be accomplished on Saturday or Sunday or, in rare cases, can span two days.
Tee shirts will not be available through the website. Individual churches or arganizations may choose to provide them.
